George Karouzos
Born in Athens, 1964, has been a founding member of OPEN Services Ltd since 1992 and holds the position of Managing Director of Technopolis S.A. since 1999, when the merge of the two took place. A biology graduate (BSc.) from the National University of Athens, has also studied Computer Science in the Greek Center of Productivity, as well as in Birkbeck College in London UK, from which he holds a post-graduate degree (MSc.). With his vast and continuous technical tutoring has been leading the company’s technological choices and directions, while holding the high supervision of the Technical Department.
Trifon Sotiropoulos
Born in Athens, 1959, has been the owner of the IT Private Studies School ACE (Advanced Computer Education) from 1988 until 1996. A founding member of OPEN Services Ltd since 1992 holds the position of General Manager of Technopolis S.A. since 1999, when the merge of the two took place. He is a BSc graduate from the Athens University of Economics and Business, with a Computer Science postgraduate degree (MSc.) from Birkbeck College in London UK and the publisher of “OPEN Newsletter”, “NET Letter”, “NT News”, “CyberWeek” and “ΝΕ.Ο” magazines. Very well related and connected with the IT market in Greece, he is in charge of the company’s business development strategy.
George Makris
Born in Athens, 1963, has been a senior technical staff member in IT services for 10 years (1989 – 1999) with Information Dynamics S.A. and another 8 years (1999 – 2007) as an IT Director in a multi-company, multi-industry environment. His last position was at the Latsis owned LAMDA Development S.A. (2003 – 2007). An Athens College graduate has studied Business Administration at the Technological Educational Institute of Piraeus and Computer Science in the Greek Center of Productivity. With broad experience in managing large-scale IT projects, services, operations and processes in both public and private sectors, has joined Technopolis S.A. management team as a Manager of Services since early 2007.
Human Resources
Technopolis S.A.’s staff is its greatest asset and the ‘engine’ that powers the solutions and services the company offers, a fact which has created a mutually respectable environment between employees and the management team, encouraging initiatives and innovative ideas.
