Elastic Search UI for the default Liferay 7/DXP installation

Liferay comes bundles with an integrated Elastic Search server. This answers in port 9200. If you call the url ``` http://localhost:9200/ ``` you will get the following json. ``` { "name": "Meld", "cluster_name": "LiferayElasticsearchCluster", "version": { "number": "2.2.0", "build_hash": "8ff36d139e16f8720f2947ef62c8167a888992fe", "build_timestamp": "2016-01-27T13:32:39Z", "build_snapshot": false, "lucene_version": "5.4.1" }, "tagline": "You Know, for Search" } ``` You can also run queries and become an answer, but its rather a bad user experience. A better way is to use some kind of tool, like [luke](http://www.getopt.org/luke/) for lucene. Here ist a tool like this, with the only difference, it is web based and works on its own server. Its [elasticsearch-head](http://mobz.github.io/elasticsearch-head/). To install it locally follow the instructions described [here](https://github.com/mobz/elasticsearch-head#running). Keep in mind, that Liferay 7/DXP uses Elastic Search version 2.2. The result looks like this: ![Cluster Overview][Cluster Overview] [Cluster Overview]: /sites/default/files/blogs/clusteroverview.png "Cluster Overview"
