New virtualsports.opap.gr site, is build upon open source Portal Platform, the Liferay DXP Portal. New site was deployed, so that end users would gradually transition from old Intralot based core sportsbook system, to the equivalent from BGT backend, in an uninterrupted manner, under new hardware and server installation.
New virtualsports.opap.gr site, currently offers the following:
- Markets/Odds values for Football Virtual Sports
- CMS articles for “How to play”, “Player’s video”, etc
- Mobile Web View optimised for mobile phones
All betting info is based upon JSON/swagger – REST API communication with OPAP Middleware services
AKAMAI integration was used as a classic origin CDN solution
